Arabian Ambassador Academy
The Arabian Ambassador program is a unique opportunity for community leaders and school district parents to gain first-hand knowledge of how SMCSC operates and enjoy a deeper understanding of South Madison Community Schools.
Goals:
- To create an annual group of informed citizens who will become advocates in the community for SMCSC.
- To educate members of the interrelationships between school programs, operations, and functions of the school district.
- To create partnerships with community members who will continue to engage with the district for future projects and conversations.
Ambassador Benefits:
- Learn behind-the-scenes details about South Madison schools, operations, departments, and programs.
- Be a resource with detailed information about South Madison Community Schools for your friends and community members.
- Meet other spirited community members.
- Participate in a dialogue with leaders in education.
Details and Ambassador Requirements:
- Attend monthly informational meetings: Arabian Ambassador Academy Schedule
- Ambassadors are required to miss no more than one meeting to graduate. A graduation ceremony will be held during the May meeting.
- Meetings will be held at a variety of locations including the SMCSC central office, elementary schools, PHMS, and PHHS.
- Ambassadors are asked to provide feedback and discussion.
Applications are due by Friday, August 30, 2024.
